About
Hi, I’m Kristýna. So nice to meet you!
I’m a graphic designer, photographer, and the founder of a small creative studio called Brown Leopard. My path here wasn’t exactly straightforward—I originally trained as a psychologist. Because of my husband’s work, we moved often, and it was during our time overseas that I fully fell in love with photography and graphic design.
Since I’ve always enjoyed making life simpler—both for myself and for others—I decided to combine my passions and create the Brown Leopard online shop. Over the past nine years (and through two maternity leaves), I’ve built a growing collection of creative tools designed to make photo editing easier and help photographers present their work professionally. With just a few clicks, you can give your images a warm summer glow with sun rays or create a unique photo collage to offer your clients.
As an introvert and a mom of two boys, being able to create from home on my computer feels like a dream come true. I’m constantly coming up with new ideas and expanding the shop with fresh overlays, photo masks, and templates.
It means a lot to me that my work is used by well-known photographers around the world. To make sure everyone can get the most out of my products, I create free video tutorials that guide you step by step through the process. And if you ever need help, you can always reach out to me personally, whether by email or on social media.
Over the years, I’ve brought other professionals into the team to ensure everything runs smoothly and that you’re well taken care of. The heart of the creative graphic work, however, remains firmly in my hands.
What’s Behind the Name?
At the very beginning of my business, I spent most of my days with my loyal canine sidekick, Bonnie. She always knew how to pull me away from the computer and instantly lift my mood (and my blood pressure…) with her wild, unstoppable energy.
When it came time to name my graphic studio, there was no hesitation. I named it after her — or rather, after her breed: the Louisiana Leopard Dog.
Even though Bonnie is no longer with us, her spirit lives on — and the name still makes me smile.
